Winter Campout Arapahoe District Konderee , February 2005

Snow Mountain Ranch 2 night campout in the winter.  Lots of snow to shovel out a space for our large white canvas tent.  We had some warmth by bringing our new pot belly stove that burns wood.  We had hot water for hat chocolate thanks to the potbelly stainless steel hot water attachment.  Many of our group went snowshoeing and some played in the snow on Saturday.  We tried to build a snow "quinzee" and learned lots of lessons for next time.  We also went swimming at the indoor pool at Snow Mountain Ranch complex.  We all enjoyed Dr. Spahr's famous dutch oven enchiladas
