Troop 373 Seabase High Adventure, July 2005

Seven Troop 373 Scouts and adult leaders flew to Florida in July 2006.  They stayed at a beachfront hotel overnight to play on the sandy beaches before they were shuttled to the Boy Scouts of America Seabase High Adventure Base.  After check-in the Scouts loaded their 40 foot sailboat with food and supplies.  They checked out their snorkel gear and took a swim test.  Then all climbed aboard their new home for the next six nights and off to the open sea.  They traveled several days to reach Key West.  Stayed in Key West on day then traveled back to Seabase.  Lots of stops in the tropical waters for snorkeling among the reefs of the Florida Keys.  Great food, lots of sun, great fishing and fun games.  This is one of three high adventures that make up the prestigious "Triple Crown Award" where Scouts attend all three BSA High Adventures of Seabase, Northern Tier Canoeing, and Philmont.
