Troop 373 at the Annual Arapahoe District Fall Camporee, October 2006

This year's Arapahoe District Fall Camporee was held at Peaceful Valley at the new location at Magness Camp around the lake.  Over 430 Scouts and adults attended this year's Camporee.  The activites included Shotgun Shooting, Tomahawk Throwing, Rock Climbing, Bouldering, Orienteering, Pioneering and Chariot Racing as well as the traditional campfire and this year a live rock band.  Our Scouts enjoyed wonderful Dutch Oven Cooking for breakfast and dinner meals.  The Order of the Arrow got us excited about making chokers to promote the Indian traditions of OA.  The cotton-tails down by the lake proved to be the most fun of the unplanned activities by unanimous vote of the Scouts..  Thanks to Troop 114 who coordinated the Fall Camporee and all the activities.
